Mark Pritchard MP Brain Tumour Research

Brain tumour research is vital in seeking new treatments for what is one of the most complicated illnesses and diagnoses that a person can receive.

This life limiting condition usually has a negative prognosis and will often cut peoples lives very short.

Mark has lost two friends to brain tumours over his lifetime and knows what a devastating impact it can have on the family and friends of those affected by the disease.

Mark was pleased to meet the Brain Tumour Research team in Parliament to discuss their latest work.

Mark expressed his gladness that there have been some breakthroughs in treatments in recent years, but said that much more needs to be done to increase survival rates and extend people's lives, and quality of life, whilst living with the disease.
