In Carer's Week, Mark was pleased to join representatives of Carers UK, Carers Trust, Age UK and MND Association in Parliament to hear their latest recommendations on how to build 'Carer Friendly Communities'.
According to research published by Carers Week, nearly half the UK population has provided unpaid care to a family member, friend or neighbour at some point in their lives. Of those, more than 11 million are currently providing unpaid care.
