Mark was pleased to meet with Professor Pat Price, Chair of Radiotherapy UK, in Parliament to discuss their campaign to expand the availability of radiotherapy across the country.
Whilst the Government has announced £70 million of funding for new radiotherapy machines, Radiotherapy UK says this is not enough to update all the machines which are becoming out-of-date.
Mark said: "The Government’s upcoming 10-Year Plan for the NHS must recognise the priority of reducing waiting times for cancer treatment across the country."
