Wrekin MP, Mark Pritchard, has met with senior managers of Shropshire's Clinical Commissioning Group to discuss GP provision in Shifnal and Albrighton.

The MP will meet with Simon Freeman, the Chairman of Shropshire's Clinical Commissioning Group and Nicky Wilde, Director of Primary Care.

Mr Pritchard said: "GP provision in Shifnal and Albrighton needs to expand. The area is seeing increasing demand for local GP services and this will increase further as both areas grows. I made a strong case for Shifnal's and Albrighton's increasing GP requirements".

The meeting was held in Shifnal at the Old Fire Station.
