Marks Holds Policing Summit in Newport

Mark was pleased to welcome two of West Mercia Police's most senior leaders - Acting Chief Constable and John Campion 4 West Mercia Police & Crime Commissioner - to Newport to discuss policing issues in the town.

They were joined by Cllr Rodney Pitt of Newport Town Council and Cllr Tim Nelson, who represents Newport on Telford & Wrekin Council and who continues to champion the need for a more visible police presence in the town.

Amongst the topics discussed were anti-social behaviour, shoplifting, speeding, parking, and increasing the police presence in Newport
