Telford & Wrekin's new £4.5 million Community Diagnostic Centre is open.
It will provide MRI scans, CT scans, ultrasound scans, cardiology, X-rays, blood tests and respiratory checks.
Once fully operational, the CDC will deliver an extra 53,000 tests, checks and scans every year to help detect cancer and other serious conditions sooner.
This is very welcome news and yet further investment into the local NHS - with much more to come.
