Mark was was pleased to join Albrighton Councillor Nigel Lumby and Albrighton Village Action Group campaigners at a packed public meeting where he joined local campaigners and Albrighton residents to oppose plans by Boningale Homes to build 800 houses on greenbelt land.

Speaking after the public meeting, Mark said:

"Huge thanks to all those who attended the meeting. Local residents are overwhelmingly against the development of greenbelt land which is outside the scope of the Shropshire Local Plan. As I said at the meeting, I will fight these proposals all the way."
