The Government is investing an extra £450m to improve school buildings at 859 academies, sixth form colleges and voluntary aided schools.
Among them are Idsall School in Shifnal and Newport Girls' High School Academy.
This new investment will upgrade school and college facilities, providing pupils with safe, warm and energy efficient classrooms so they have the facilities they need to study and succeed.
